Thinking about hosting something at my place tonight. Had a few people express interest.

Had a few ideas. Those ideas being a pizza meet, movie night or LAN.
Also up for going out to see a movie or something.
Anyone have any more ideas?

Update

Update on the things I am getting rid of, Vulpy nicked the PSP. Sorry to the few others that showed interest. Sirukie is selling his original PSP-1000 with 5.00 M33-6 custom firmware, so ask him how much he wants for it.

I have left the EeePC 701SD. Almost brand new, have yet to take the stickers off.
The netbook has an 8Gb SSD (solid state drive) and an extra 2Gb SD card.
I have upgraded the ram to 2Gb and it is running Windows XP. Comes with all original accessories and original box.
$200 firm price.

Still need to get rid of the N95 8Gb
The phone has a few scratches but I never notice them myself anymore.
Slider mechanism is still very good. Very powerful phone, I had it running Skype alongside with MSN, IRC and watching movies at the same time. This is a very capable media phone. The music playback and software is the best I have used on a phone to date. The camera is also excellent, 5mp with a carl zeiss lens. It takes some great photo and video for a phone.
Comes with original box and books/cds.
Price dropped to 200$.

Odd bits.

I am going to be putting some items up on the work forums for sale.
So I thought I should post here first.

First is a PSP-2000. It is the second last model of PSP (SLIM PSP).
Very very good condition, the latest hacked firmware and you may do as you wish with it.
Two 4Gb Memory Stick Duo cards. I can give you a load of games if you like as well.
The original soft carry case and charger with it. This model can charge over usb or AC power.
All that for $200.

Next is an EeePC 701SD. Almost brand new, have yet to take the stickers off.
The netbook has an 8Gb SSD (solid state drive) and an extra 2Gb SD card.
I have upgraded the ram to 2Gb and it is running Windows XP. Comes with all original accessories and original box.
$200 for this one also.

And finally, I have an N95 8Gb to get rid of.
$250 for this one. Very sad to see it go.

Edit: Forgot to mention, N95 comes with original box and books/cds and all the accessories but the headphones which wore out due to use.

Business un-usual.

I am constantly shocked at how horrible Austin Computers is. It's like they don't want to do business at all.

EVERY Austin store is run horribly.
Every time I walk into one I feel that the staff are constantly insulting me, when they pick up the phone all I get is "What do you want?".
They know fuck all about customer service or even the hardware they sell.

Was chatting with the manager of the Cannington store about a month ago, I asked if the store was open all weekend and he said to me "No, this long weekend I'm going to get fucking stoned and watch the grass grow".

I bought a keyboard because it had semi-laptop keys. The staff member serving me called me an idiot for buying a keyboard with lights in it.

Today I walked in, having reserved the last of an item earlier today. But I couldn't have it because somebody reserved it AFTER me.

After spending more than thirty thousand dollars in these stores over the last year alone (for myself and the company I work for), I still get treated like trash. They have just lost another customer.
